Actor and director Vineeth Kumar announced a new movie starring Tovino Thomas. Ashiq Usman, Sameer Tahir and Shaiju Khalid will produce the film. Darshana Rajendra is the heroine of the upcoming film. Actors Arjun Lal and Sharaf-Suhas will write the screenplay for the film.
Arjun Lal, who played the character of Mohanlal’s son in the movie Thanmatra, is making his screen debut in this movie. The film also stars Basil Joseph, Arjun Lal and Arjun Radhakrishnan. The main location is Bangalore. Producer Ashiq Usman has announced the launch of the film.
This is the second film of Vineeth Kumar after Fahadh Faasil starrer Ayaal Njanalla. The film opened to mixed reviews and average performance at the box office.
Meanwhile, Tovino Thomas is all set for the release of his new film Minnal Murali. Minnal Murali, directed by Basil Joseph, will mark as the first superhero film in Malayalam. The film will have its screening on Netflix. Though the makers have not announced the release date of the film, it is expected to release soon.
Sofia Paul produces Minnal Murali under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters. Apart from Malayalam, the film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. While Mr Murali is the Hindi version, the Telugu title of the film is Meruppu Murali. The film's title in Kannada is Minchu Murali. Minnal Murali is also the biggest budget film of Tovino's career.
