Vineeth Sreenivasan Is All Praise For Gautham Vasudev Menon-Silambarasan's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu

Vineeth Sreenivasan, a filmmaker-actor-musician, has heaped praise on the current Tamil movie 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.' Gautham Vasudev Menon's mafia movie 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu,' starring Silambarasan, was released in theatres last Thursday (Sept 15) and has received positive reviews. The film follows Muthu (Silambarasan), a young Tamil Nadu native who travels to Bombay in search of a better life but becomes entangled in the mafia. The soundtrack for the film was composed by AR Rahman.

Vineeth Sreenivasan was blown away by the Silambarasan-starrer. He remarked that he was still thinking about the picture two days after seeing it in theatres. Vineeth Sreenivasan praised Gautham Vasudev Menon and Silambarasan, adding that Simbu's 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' will be his all-time favourite film! The 'Hridayam' filmmaker wrote on his social media page his appreciation for the movie: “It’s been two days since I saw Venthu Thaninthathu Kaadu and I am still thinking about the film. Because we have had so many crime dramas in the recent past, I don’t know how far this movie has impacted the audience. Also, the entertainment is not ‘on the face, loud natured’. But the performance, the making, the tweaking of tried and tested sequences, the sheer brilliance in the writing make me want to go watch this movie again. I would say this is my fav GVM film since Kakka Kakka.. And my fav Silambarasan film of all times. His performance is so detailed and so carefully done.. Some film makers after a certain age and experience hone their craft into its finest shape and form.. That’s when they shine brighter than ever...
