"Money Back Policy" was a movie directed by Jayaraj Vijayan and starring Srinivasan. Manoj Ramsingh, the screenwriter and producer of the film, talks about the film, which turned out to be a failure in the theatres and the financial collapse he faced due to it. He talked about the film in an interview given to Master Bin Channel.

 
I was ready to make the movie Money Back Policy from Jayaraj's idea. When I heard the idea, Srinivasan liked it. It took almost two years to write the story for the movie. After reading the story two days before the start of shooting for the comedy-based film, Vineeth Srinivasan called me and told me not to do the film. because people's view of cinema has changed. Therefore, he said that it is not possible to say how successful the film will be. But Vineeth Srinivasan's opinion was ignored as all the preparations for the shooting were over, "said Manoj.
 
Dulquer Salmaan's ABCD was also released on the same day as Money back Policy. Therefore, everyone was sure that the film would fail, he added. He also said that the film lost around Rs. 1 crore. Dulquer Salmaan's ABCD was a huge hit in theatres.
