After the critically acclaimed film Virus, director Aashiq Abu is now prepping up to start his new film soon. This movie will feature Rima Kallingal and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles. The shoot will kickstart in Kochi.
After the Virus, Aashiq Abu took a year gap to finalize his next project. In the meantime, there were reports that he is planning to make a film with Bollywood Baadshah
Shah Rukh Khan as they met recently in Mumbai. But it turned out to be just a rumor as neither Aashiq Abu nor Shah Rukh has confirmed this project. Finally, Aashiq Abu decided to make this new film with Soubin and Rima.
Soubin was last seen in the film Trace, which had hit the screens a few days back. He played the role of a television host in this movie. Soubin is also known for his roles in films like Kumbalangi Nights, Parava and Sudani From Nigeria.
Rima is best known for her performance in the film 22 Female Kottayam, which was also directed by Aashiq Abu. She has also acted in films like Rani Padmini and Virus. On the flip side, Aashiq is currently bankrolling the film Halaal Love Story, which will hit the screens soon. Sudani From Nigeria fame Zakaria is directing this film.
