WATCH: Virat Kohli, Ayushmann, Kriti & Sara say 'Mat Kar Forward' to avoid the spread of fake news and videos

Due to the current situation of the pandemic, there are many people out there who spread fake news and videos. Such spreading of fake news leads to a situation of misunderstanding and hatred in society and causes a lot more trouble than the crisis itself. This is why celebrity faces like Virat Kohli, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, and Sara Ali Khan have joined hands to say 'NO' to such activities. In the video called 'Mat Kar Forward', all of them can be seen talking about the harmful effects of spreading fake information.

The video starts with Virat talking about his cousin, "Yaar mere cousin ke waje se na pure ghar me fel gaya." Followed by Kriti saying, "Ek Ek karke sab iske chapet me aajayenge" and then Ayushmann saying "Aur mai yaha soch raha tha mai toh ghar se nikla hi nai toh safe hu." And then Sara said, "Kise pata tha itna dangerous hoga." While it looks like that the actors are talking about the spread of COVID-19, it turns out that they are actually talking about the spread of fake news and videos.

"Yes we are talking about those forwarded videos and pictures which spread hatred. This is also a form of virus in our society, " Virat says. The video is followed by Ayushmann, Kriti, and Sara giving some examples of such fake messages. In the end, they all appeal together to stop spreading such messages.

As Virat shared the video, he wrote, "All of you support us with such fervor when we play for the nation. But now the nation needs you, me, all of us to play for it. Will you do your bit? #MatKarForward @TikTok_IN."
