The weekend is almost here. After a stressful week of work, it's time to spend time with your loved ones, laugh out loud with them, and watch some interesting content on OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee5, and Disney+ Hotstar. But with dozens of options on the plate, it gets very confusing to pick the right one. So, we've done the research and made a list of some newly entrant shows and films this weekend which can easily get you through it. Have a look:

Nevertheless

If you're a K-drama fan, Nevertheless is a show you wouldn't wanna miss. This has recently been released online and so the show has just one episode available for streaming for now. All the other episodes are going to be released as they air in South Korea, i.e. every Saturday. This show explores the modern-day love story of a couple getting into a 'friends with benefits' type of relationship arrangement and how they find their feelings later on. Starring Song Kang and Han So-hee, Nevertheless is available for streaming on Netflix.

Ray

Missing Manoj Bajpayee from The Family Man? He's back with another promising series co-starring Kay Kay Menon, Gajrao Rao, Harshvardhan Rane, Ali Fazal, Radhika Madan, and more. Ray is a thriller-drama series consisting of four parts – different adaptations picked up from celebrated auteur Satyajit Ray. The trailer of this web series has already been well received and the audience has eagerly been waiting for its release. Luckily, the show is releasing tomorrow, i.e. 25th June, and you can binge the series on Netflix.

Too Hot To Handle S2

Get ready to be introduced to another group of gorgeous-looking girls and boys in a show about love and companionship. Last year, Too Hot To Handle made waves amongst the audience for its content. Now the show has returned for another season with a fresh bunch of contestants. If you're in for watching reality shows, this one would be perfect for you. The show has ten episodes for streaming on Netflix.

Grahan

This eight-episode long series is inspired by the novel Chaurasi by Satya Vyas. Set in the 1980s, the show is based upon the riots which followed after the assassination of the then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Starring Pawan Malhotra and Zoya Hussain in the lead roles, Grahan is directed by Ranjan Chandel with Shailendra Jha as the showrunner. You can stream all episodes on Disney+ Hotstar.

Good on Paper

Good On Paper is a fun, light-hearted rom-com to watch this weekend. After years of putting her career ahead of love, stand-up comic Andrea (Iliza Shlesinger) stumbles upon the perfect guy. On paper, Dennis (Ryan Hansen) checks all the boxes, but Andrea's friend, Margot (Margaret Cho), is convinced he's not all he appears to be. This film is available for streaming on Netflix.

Dhoop Ki Deewar

Dhoop Ki Deewar is a Zee5 original Pakistani show which is releasing this weekend. This is a show which is airing live both in India and Pakistan, so its consecutive episodes are going to be released every week. The show has been making noise even before its release, and it's for all the right reasons. The story will explore the cross-border tension in martyr's families post-independence. The final episode of the show will be released on the occasion of Independence Day to mark peace and love for both India and Pakistan.
