What Did Samantha's Father Joseph Prabhu Have To Say About Her Divorce?

Though rumors about Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's divorce were doing the rounds for over a month, it was an absolute shock when they announced the same on October 2, five days ahead of their fourth wedding anniversary. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya will file for divorce by mutual consent soon. Reportedly, Samantha was offered alimony of R 200 crore by Naga Chaitanya and his family. However, Samantha doesn't want to take any penny from him or his family. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna revealed that what happened between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha was unfortunate. He further added that Samantha will always be dear to him. He concluded by saying that he and his family will cherish the moments spent with Samantha.

Now, Samantha's father Joseph Prabhu has reacted to her daughter and Naga Chaitanya's divorce. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Joseph Prabhu revealed that he was in a state of shock when he came to know about Samantha's decision to part ways with Naga Chaitanya. He also revealed that he hoped that Samantha and Chaitanya would solve the problems between them. However, it didn't happen. He further added that he is daughter Samantha must have taken this decision after giving it much thought and was confident that she would move soon.
