Rana Daggubati is currently working for the film Virata Parvam. Venu Udugula is directing this project. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead in it. The film is in the final stages of its shoot. Currently, the production got stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most of the film's shoot happened in the forest areas of Kerala, Warangal and Vikarabad. Recently, we came to know about an incident where elephants scared the entire crew of the film while they were shooting in Kerala. Luckily, no one got hurt in this incident and no equipment got damaged as well.
According to the sources, the incident took place when the team is shooting in the forests of Kerala. One day, when the shoot is about to get packed up, few elephants started running towards the crew. Some of the team members saw the elephants and alerted the rest of the crew. Immediately, everyone rushed from the place, leaving the equipment behind. Thankfully, no one got hurt in the incident. We heard that both Rana and Sai Pallavi were also on the sets when this mishap took place.
Virata Parvam is a period drama that is set in the early 1990s. It is being made in the backdrop of Naxalism and the rise of it in Andhra Pradesh. The film is being produced jointly by Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banners Suresh Productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas. The film will hit the screens later this year. Meanwhile, Rana has also acted in another film called Aranya, which is all set for the release. It will be out once the lockdown gets lifted.
