Actor Alencier responds to the question that there is not a single interview of his that has not been about the Prime Minister in recent times. Alencier’s reply was that he had said not only about the Prime Minister but also about the Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
“Have you not heard what I said about the Chief Minister? Haven't you heard what was said about the Leader of the Opposition? Haven't you heard about Pallilachan?” asked Alencier to the journalist. When said he had heard; Alencier pointed out that he did not like it.
“Why I should not like the Prime Minister, is he not our Prime Minister? Is not the Prime Minister of India my Prime Minister? What's wrong with you? What is wrong with liking the Prime Minister. Do I just like Jawaharlal Nehru? Or do you want me to love Sonia Gandhi? Did you come to ask about the film Heaven or to resolve the issue between the Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi?" said Alencier.
Alencier was speaking at a press conference held as part of the promotion of Unni Govind Raj's latest film Heaven starring Suraj Venjaramoodu. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Alansier and Jafar Idukki were present at the press meet.
Suraj will play the role of a policeman in the film. Heaven also stars Jafar Idukki, Joy Mathew, Sudev Nair, Alansier, and Vinaya Prasad in other important roles.
Earlier, Alencier’s response to a media question about the female characters in the film Heaven was also discussed.
Alencier’s comment came after Suraj Venjaramoodu was asked by the media about the role of actor Vinaya Prasad in the film.
“Vinaya Prasad Chechi's character is my mother. My wife is not mentioned in the movie, just saying one thing. There is no heroine in this;” said Suraj.
Alencier’s comment after this referring to the WCC had gained attention on social media. “I did not receive a call from the WCC. You've been asking questions for a long time. I did not get anyone from the WCC to play Suraj Venjaramoodu's wife, you write; ” Alencier said.
