Yami Gautam Dhar Discusses Meeting With Renowned Crime Reporters To Gear Up For Her Role In Lost

Yami Gautam Dhar, who is waiting for the premiere of her soon-to-be-streamed project, Lost, encountered real crime reporters while making the movie. In the movie, she plays a crime reporter looking for a story.

“I didn’t meet any crime journalists prior to the shooting but yes, I did meet them while we were shooting, and they were very senior. They were very kind”, the actress told IANS.

Yami Gautam Dhar continued, “It was a pleasure meeting them because if they hadn’t told me who they were, I would never know their significant body of work. I wouldn’t have known their background. They were extremely warm. They watched us shoot and perform. That’s all about it; there was no particular journalist that I had in mind while preparing for the role”.

Additionally, Yami Gautam Dhar talked about why she believes that the movie industry is among the most prestigious in the world. “Cinema has a large influence on people, which is why it is considered one of the most loved and respected professions in the world. It manages to evoke a beautiful bag of emotions within you. It has the capacity to entertain and engage you as an audience and that’s what I call success. I am hoping Lost can give the audience that kind of experience.”

Vicky Donor, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, was Yami's Bollywood acting début in 2012. She has acted in several films, including Kaabil, Sanam Re, Bala, Ginny Weds Sunny, A Thursday, Badlapur, and Dasvi. Her subsequent appearance will be in Lost, which will premiere on the OTT service ZEE5 on February 16. She is now working on Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga and Oh My God 2.
