KGF Chapter 2 starring mega star Yash is one of the most awaited films this year. It is also one of the films that faced release date issues owing to the coronavirus pandemic. It was recently announced that the film hit the theatres on 23rd October 2020. It seems like the film crew began working at 'full speed' to meet the release date after the lockdown norms were relaxed. Director Prashant Neel took to his Instagram Story to share a snippet of the crew working on the music and editing bits of the film. He shared the snippet with the words 'Music and editing in full speed' written across along with the Instagram handles of the crew! It looks like the fans can now expect the release of the film in October.

KGF Chapter 2 is the sequel to the super hit 2018 film KGF. Yash is reprising his role from the first film of the franchise. Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon have joined the sequel's cast. Sanjay will take on the role of the antagonist. Raveena will have a 'major role' as well.

On the work front, Prashant Neel and Yash are focusing on KGF Chapter 2. Prashant, however, took to his Twitter to hint at his next film hero. Jr NTR will star in his next venture. The venture was the talk of the industry but there was no confirmation. Prashanth Neel finally confirmed about his next film with the Jr NTR on the occasion of the star's birthday!. He wrote, 'So finally I know how it feels like to sit next to a nuclear plant...next time bringing my radiation suit to be around all that crazy energy @tarak9999. Happy birthday, brother!!! Have a safe and great day. See you soon..#HappyBirthdayNTr #stayhomestaysafe.'
