Yesteryear actress Laila all set to make her come back into films. Laila was one of the most famous actresses in 2000s and starred in many films impressed critics and audience with her performances. Dheena, Ullam Ketkume, Pithamagan, Kanda Naal Mudhal, Nanda, Parthen Rasithen, Unnai Ninaithu were some noted film in her career. She was also popular in neighboring states and acted in few films there. After the marriage, she did not appear in any film.
Recently Laila had a get-together with her Kanda Naal Mudhal team Prasanna and Karthik Kumar, and director Priya. Kanda Naal Mudhal was a romantic entertainer which was a huge hit at that time. The team recently clicked and Prasanna posted on twitter hinting the sequel for Kanda Naal Mudhal. There were rumors that director Priya in the process of scripting sequel, once everything falls in place the second installment for Kanda Naal Mudhal will kick off.
We have no confirmation if the sequel is still on or not but Laila much early to make her come back with the film Alice produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja under YSR Films. This film is going to be a thriller. The first look released created a buzz in social media. Director Mani Chandru to make his debut with this film. Pyaar Prema Kadhal fame Raiza Wilson will play lady lead. Yuvan now busy producing continuous film apart from composing music. He is also producing a movie with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupati.
