Yo-Yo Honey Singh appeared in court today at Delhi's Tis Hazari court. This is in connection with his wife's domestic abuse case. For the hearing, the well-known singer appeared with his lawyers. Honey Singh's wife Shalini Talwar claims she has faced multiple incidences of abuse. This includes physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. She is asking for Rs 20 crore as compensation as well.
According to ANI, Honey Singh appeared physically appeared in Tis Hazari court today. ANI’s Tweet reads: “Bollywood singer & actor 'Yo Yo Honey Singh (Hirdesh Singh) physically appeared before Delhi's Tis Hazari court today, in connection with domestic violence case.”
Earlier, Honey Singh has issued a statement in response to his wife Shalini Talwar's charges of domestic violence and having sex with other women. His statement reads: “I am deeply pained and distressed by the false and malicious allegations levied against me and my family by my companion/wife of 20 years, Mrs. Shalini Talwar. The allegations are severely odious. I have been associated with the industry for over 15 years and have worked with artists and musicians across the country. Everyone is aware of my relationship with my wife, who has been an integral part of my crew for more than a decade now and always accompanied me to my shoots, events, and meetings. I strongly refute all the allegations but will not comment any further because the matter is sub-judice before the Court of Law. I have full faith in the judicial system of this country, and I am confident that the truth will be out soon.”
