Yogi Babu lands a role in Mani Ratnam's Navarasa movie

Yogi Babu made his debut in the industry as a comedy actor and slowly climbed the ladder to become a hero in films. His comedy timing and self-depricating rumour are his positive highlights. Yogi Babu has now landed another film, which is jointly produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan. This is none other than Navarasa, which will stream on Netflix. As reported earlier, Navarasa is an anthologu of nine stories directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rathindran R Prasad, Karthik Naren, Karthik Subbaraj, Arvind Swamy and K.V. Anand.

Earlier, Ponram was roped in to direct one of the short stories in Navarasa But, he has now opted out due to personal reasons. To replace him, National Award winning director Priyadarshan has been finalised. Yogi Babu will play the lead role in Priyadarshan's portion. It is indeed a huge honour for Yogi Babu as Priyadarshan is one of the most celebrated filmmakers in the country. Netflix's Navarasa is a project that is aimed to help 10,000 workers in the film industry. All the directors and actors are working pro-bono to release the film.
