People are still finding it hard to digest the fact that Irrfan Khan is no more. The actor was battling from a colon infection. He was 54. As soon as the news broke out, the entire Indian film industry mourned the loss of Irrfan. Bollywood's young bunch of actors, who treat Irrfan as an inspiration, have shared their opinions on the actor. Actors like Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana have prayed for Irrfan's soul and offered condolences to his family.
Vicky Kaushal termed Irrfan as a gem of a human being. He wrote, 'My favorite actor, a gem of a human being... Irrfan Sir, you will be missed and loved forever. We deserved you a lot more. May your soul rest in peace. My prayers and deepest condolences to the family.'
'Rest in peace @irrfan sir. You have no idea what your kindness and encouragement meant to me at my lowest. My condolences to your family and loved ones,' wrote Sonam Kapoor.
Kartik explained how great an actor Irrfan is, by writing, 'My first ever acting was in a workshop for my first film where all I had to do was try to recreate a scene of Irrfan sir from Maqbool. Arjun Kapoor shared his working experience with Irrfan Khan. He stated, 'My 3rd film, my first day on set & I had the pleasure of standing in frame with you sir. It felt surreal then & it feels gut-wrenching now to know that's all the time we had together. Thank you for all the amazing work you leave behind for us. I hope the pain is lesser wherever you are sir. RIP Irrfan Sir.'
Young actress Janhvi Kapoor prayed for Irrfan's soul by writing, 'There are no words to sum up what you have given us with your unparalleled work and artistry. There are no words to sum up the loss that all of us feel today. May you rest in peace.'
