At the age of 16, music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja made his film debut. He is currently one of Kollywood's most well-known music composers. Yuvan's admirers have created a subculture they call "Yuvanism." It is not a new fact that the music director converted to Islam in 2014. He took the name Abdul Haliq. He continues to use the name Yuvan Shankar Raja, nonetheless. The music director is currently in the news for the past few days. It is said that he is going on a trip to Mecca to perform Umrah. Social media is flooded with pictures of the music director dressed in the religious garb worn by Muslims during the Umrah.

According to images posted on social media, Yuvan Shankar Raja is purportedly at the holy city of Mecca. Another photo shows him boarding a plane.

However, there are no updates about Yuvan Shankar Raja's voyage to Mecca on his social media accounts. The music composer wed his bride Zafroon Nizar. She uploaded a video of Yuvan Shankar Raja explaining his decision to convert to Islam.
