American star actor Zac Efron recently confirmed news about him falling ill on the sets of a new reality TV show that he was filming recently. The show titled Killing Zac Efron is currently shooting in Papua New Guinea.
Efron, who is 32, got airlifted to a major Australian city hospital for diagnosis and treatment. Efron was reportedly suffering from typhoid which he acquired while filming for the show.
Taking to Twitter the actor wrote, "Very thankful to everyone who has reached out,” his post said. “I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in PNG". While Australian doctors couldn't reveal the information due to patient-doctor confidentiality, a doctor revealed that paramedics brought in a 30-year-old American man recently.
Efron also told his fans that he is now back in Los Angeles with his family and friends to celebrate Christmas. This means that the actor has recovered from his fever completely.
