Zee Studios to produce Saaho fame Sujeeth's upcoming action drama
Starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, Saaho was one of the highly anticipated films of 2019. The big-budget action thriller did not perform particularly well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana but it was a decent hit in the Hindi circuit.
It needs to be said that Sujeeth who helmed the project did not taste the best of results with the Prabhas starrer. Incidentally, he was approached to direct the Telugu remake of Lucifer but things did not materialize and he walked out later.
Cut to now, Sujeeth is ready with his upcoming project and Zee Studios have come on-board to produce it. Sujeeth commented that he has penned an action thriller with a strong hint of emotional connect.
"I am excited to be collaborating with Zee Studios for my next project. Saaho was a full-on actioner and my next film will also be high on adrenaline-pumping action but it will also have an emotional core," he stated.
Zee Studios were also visibly excited about the project and said they can't wait to bring this visually spectacular film to life. "Sujeeth's vision and technical expertise are top-notch. He has penned a taut thriller which ticks all the right boxes and we are very excited about the project," said a representative of Zee Studios.
The as-yet-untitled action drama will be commencing shoot in the second half of 2021 and further details pertaining to the star cast and technical team will be out once the project is officially launched.
