The Batman is hyping up to be the most awaited film due to its intriguing cast. Robert Pattinson will be taking forward the baton of the character of the Caped Crusader in the Matt Reeves directorial. Accompanying him will be Zoe Kravitz in the role of the Catwoman. Pattinson's most famous role in the Twilight series has invited some skeptical reactions over his acting ability. However, Christian Bale, the former Batman actor of the The Dark Knight trilogy gave his thumbs up to Pattinson. Co-star Zoe Kravitz too came in defence of Pattinson.
She defended him and said that he is perfect for the role. In her interview with Variety and iHeart podcast, she answered the question as to why she thinks he is best for this role. She talked about how the actor started out young and made his way through Hollywood slowly. He has grown as an actor through his different roles. She revealed that Pattinson is an interesting artist and Batman as a character has a lot of things going on for him within the shadows.
"He can relate in that way, and he looks good in the suit, man. He looks good in the suit. That’s a good jawline. But he’s just a great actor and he brings so much to everything he does. I think that it’s a really hard role because people are expecting a lot. Also, it’s restricting in a lot of ways. You’re wearing the suit, and you can’t see their eyes, and you can only move in a certain way." said Kravitz
She continued, So you have to get really creative in terms of how can you portray a multi-dimensional character? He’s way up for the challenge and has really interesting ideas already. Kravitz concluded to Variety and iHeart podcast by saying that, "I think he’s perfect, perfect casting,"
