2 Kacheguda Express coaches detach, no casualties reported

On Friday evening, a deadly accident had taken place after the two coaches of Mysuru to Kacheguda Express got separated.

 
Officers of South Western Rail says that between Byappanahalli and Channasandra railway station two coaches 3-A/C(B1 & B2) have been separated, ranged about 14 km from KSR Bengaluru. This situation generated agitation among the staff and passengers.
 
SWR officers said, B1 and B2 coaches were damaged and the B2 coach washroom was smashed on the track. The train services were messed up big, an immediate investigation was commanded with respect to this situation.
 
The 24-coach train which was commenced from Mysuru at about 2.50 PM passed Byappanahalli station at 6.53PM and then halted at Channasandra station at 7.06PM.
