ACB interrogates Minister Puttaranga Shetty for over 6 hours
The CBI officers questioned the Backward classes welfare Minister, Chamarajanagar MLA Puttaranga Shetty for about six hours in link with the seizure of Rs.25.76 lakhs from one of his office assistants in January this year.
It can be recalled that on January 4, this money was seized from the bag of SJ Mohan Kumar an employee in minister office by the Vidhana Soudha police. Later, the case was forwarded to the CCB for investigation.
As per the sources, the ACB interrogated the minister over six hours on Wednesday and gathered information. However, Shetty refuses his connection in the case, the ACB is anticipated to name him in the final charge sheet, will be filed after Lok Sabha elections results.
