Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar submits his resignation
Assembly Speaker in Karnataka K R Ramesh Kumar has resigned. While in the trust vote motion BS Yediyurappa has proved his majority. Due to that after BSY proves his success in motion, BJP party has planned for the no-confidence motion against the Speaker Ramesh Kumar.
The Congress leader said, “To avoid any such move, Ramesh Kumar is planning to submit his resignation.” Meanwhile, BJP sources said the party is now planning to assign the new Speaker to the Assembly. “It will be Virajpet MLA KG Bopaiah. But the names of Rajajinagar MLA Suresh Kumar and Sirsi MLA Vishweshwara Hegade Kageri have also been floated,” expressed BJP source.
