Balayya initially opposed my political entry: Vizag MP candidate Sri Bharat*
Sri Bharath is already setting his own path against the acknowledgment he had as a son-in-law of Balayya and grandson of GITAM University founder MVVS Murthy. In a recent press meet, he opens up his mind regarding his political debut and his candidacy as Vizag MP from TDP scoring good marks.
Bharath revealed that his father-in-law Balakrishna initially opposed his idea to enter politics while his career as a businessman is running successfully. "Mavayya was a bit shocked with my decision. Instead of snubbing my proposal he sat and talked with me asking the reasons for my decision to enter politics at a comparatively young age,” said Bharat. He also said that his Mavayya cautioned him about the work-life balance as being a politician leaves less time for family. “He then supported my decision after knowing my determination towards entering politics,” he added.
Bharat said he and his wife Tejeswini share very good equation and she respects his decisions with constant support. “I am ready to sacrifice some of my family time at the cost of serving people. Tejaswi will remain as my stronghold looking over our year old kid,” said Bharat about his wife Tejaswi. He also shared about the bond with Nara Lokesh that he has been very supportive sharing a good rapport.
When asked about Purandheswari who is contesting against him in Vizag on BJP ticket, Bharat gave quite a composed answer that politics is different from family and BJP is not a mere competition to him. He also talked about former IPS officer Lakshminarayana.
On the other hand, he went all praise for Chandrababu Naidu and TDP. “Our party has strong leadership and cadre who can do justice to people. MPs, MLAs, and government are ahead to work together with a commitment for the welfare of the citizens,” stated Bharat. He then appealed to the people of Vizag to vote for TDP.
