Bangladesh removes Pakistan’s name from all border pillars
After Article 370 revocation, Pakistan is clueless of the happenings in Kashmir and trying its best to create tension and violence at the border which is being successfully retreated by our Indian Army. In such a desperate situation of their’s, Bangladesh gave them a shock by removing Pakistan’s Identity from all their borer pillars.
Border Guard Bangladesh has removed Pakistan's name from all the border pillars installed along its border with India. Bangladesh took the step to remove the border pillars, which were installed after the Partition in 1947, for the first time since its independence in 1971. The pillars were erected in several border areas, including Naogaon, Sylhet, and Chittagong.
Forty-eight years after its Liberation War, Bangladesh has removed Pakistan’s name from all the border pillars that were installed after the Partition. The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) completed the task with its own fund on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Now all Bangladeshi border pillars have been renamed BANGLADESH/BD instead of PAKISTAN/PAK, said a BGB media release.
Satkhira, Jessore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Sunamganj, Sylhet, Brahmanbaria, Comilla, and Chittagong are the notable border areas where the pillars were erected.
