Congress workers protest against defeat in trust vote motion
The Congress-JD(S) government of the Karnataka has defeated in trust vote motion by the small marginal difference, due to that Maharashtra Youth Congress workers have protested outside the Renaissance Hotel in Powai. The protestors were blocked and detained by the police.
State vice-president Suraj Thakur sought the meeting with MLAs, he said “Today, I along with Youth Congress workers protested the horse-trading of Karnataka MLAs. We were detained by the Mumbai Police. We will continue our fight despite the odds,” he expressed.
Meanwhile, he was asked the police, “Is Police department being pressured by the BJP? Why were we detained? Why is it that the price did not let us meet the MLAs? We will keep asking the questions.” However recently DK Shivakumar also met the MLAs in Mumbai, and he was also blocked by the Mumbai police.
However, Karnataka MLA of Congress party Mr Shrimant Patil has admitted in Hospital due to the chest pain, as per his reports, doctors informed that “He completely stable.”
