Former DMK minister Jennifer Chandran is no more
Former Fisheries Minister S. Jennifer Chandran had expired in private hospital in Madurai on Tuesday, due to the renal failure. She was served for DMK party in the year 1996- 2001.
Jennifer has won from the Tiruchendur Assembly Constituency in 1996, but she was not won in the year of 2001 elections. While she was changed to the AIADMK party. And she was worked as joint secretary for the fisheries wing.
She was worked as district-in-charge of the AIADMK but was removed from the post in 2010. Later she was contested for the Thoothukudi Assembly constituency, but the decision was changed subsequently. She rejoined the DMK before the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
