JD(S) MLA of Chamundeshwari G.T. Deve Gowda has expressed the state coalition government is 'stable for now', however, he could not affirm for its continuation for the remainder of its term.
Mr. Gowda said the government would last for its full term, “Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy himself has announced that he would seek a trust vote and has asked the Speaker to fix a date,” he said. The resignation of MLAs, he said the rebel MLAs were fearing how it will play out, but, “we in the ruling coalition are not harboring any fears. Mr. Gowda stated “everything will unfold in the State,” he added.
Meanwhile, MLA for K. R. Nagar S.R. Mahesh said the government would complete its duration, and Mr. Kumaraswamy will win the trust vote and continue as CM. various MLAs were having second thoughts over their resignations, he said confidently that things return to normal in previous days.
