Ex-Minister and Hunsur MLA H Vishwanath quit the post of JDS state president due to the Lok Sabha election failure. He forwarded his resignation papers to party Chief HD Deve Gowda, Ex-PM.
His resignation happens a few hours before the JDS Legislators’ meet, which is supposed to be held on Tuesday evening.
In the resignation letter, he criticized Congress leader Siddaramaiah for making the coordination committee unsuccessful. Meantime, higher education minister G T Devegowda said that attempts will be made to convince Vishwanath to withdraw his resignation.
