What is Drandruff?
Dandruff, known in medical terms as squamous scalp conditions, is an extremely common hair problem. It is a thin desquamation, benign, of the epidermis of the scalp.
We must know that our epidermis, the outer layer of our skin, is constantly renewed. Every day, mature cells come off the skin. Normally, as these microscopic cells stand out one by one, we do not see them. But in certain skin diseases, this epidermal renewal is abnormal, it is too fast, too abundantly. Compact groups of cells visible to the naked eye are detached from the scalp. This is called "dander". Thus, dandruff is the visible manifestation of excessive desquamation of the scalp.
The hair itself is not concerned: the dandruff conditions, even if they are intense and durable, do not cause hair loss.
Home Remedies to cure Dandruff:
Nothing can ruin your look like dandruff. Whether at a date, a party or at work, these little white flakes are boring and unsightly. However, you do not need to spend a fortune trying to get rid of it.
1. Lemon juice
The acid in lemon juice helps maintain the pH balance of your hair and neutralizes bacteria and fungi that can lead to dandruff. Squeeze half a lemon into a cup and add the same amount of water. Mix and let stand for about 30 seconds in your hair, then rinse.
The main active ingredient in aspirin is salicylic acid, which is found to be the main ingredient in many large dandruff shampoos. Crush 2 aspirin tablets and add the powder to your shampoo. Lather the shampoo in your hair and let it sit for a minute or two, then rinse your hair. It is an economical, easy and effective method for many dandruff victims
3. Olive oil
Olive oil often works miracles on dandruff, penetrating and soothing easily the most irritated scalps. In addition, olive oil contains many antioxidants and healthy vitamins, such as vitamin E and linoleic acid. Apply olive oil to your hair and vigorously rub your scalp. Put a shower cap tightly wrapped around your head, go to bed and in the morning, wash your hair. Make sure you give this method at least a week before seeing results.
4. Baking soda
Baking soda has many antifungal properties and regular application to your scalp can kill virtually all harmful fungi, while helping to reduce itching and dandruff. *Wet your hair in the shower and rub some baking soda in your scalp, deep down. *Let stand 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse with water
