Karnataka floor test: Kumaraswamy’s trust vote will decide on today 6 PM
Kumaraswamy’s fate will decide on today at 6 pm. Before Assembly session Speaker Ramesh Kumar announced the schedule on trust motion from 10 am to 4 pm, the CM’s reply from 4 pm to 5 pm, and voting between 5 pm and 6 pm.
The JD(S) and Congress have started the campaign to stop the vote on the confidence motion by CM HD Kumaraswamy. The Supreme Court said Congress seeking the clarification on the issue of whips and role of the governor, and petitions by independent on the trust vote conducted “forthwith.”
On the third day of the trust vote, the BJP urged to Speaker to take up voting itself even if it meant sitting till or beyond midnight. CLP leader Siddaramaiah said they believed the meeting, the opposition BJP on its demand and agree for voting on the motion by today. However, the speaker has demanded the voting must be held on Monday since his decision to the opposition party on Friday.
Several women of Congress and JD(S) stated they need to be home for their families, and also they were diabetic and had to eat on time. BSY urged the Assembly speaker to make arrangements for dinner.
