Kedar Jadhav has been declared fit, will travel with World Cup Squad
Earlier Indian all-rounder Kedhar Jadhav has been injured his left shoulder while playing in the IPL. Now he has been declared fit for the upcoming Cricket World Cup in England and Wales.
Kedhar Jadhav got the injury while fielding an overthrow deliver from the Ajay Jadeja in the Chennai Super Kings’ against Kings XI Punjab on May 5. He had left the field immediately and it has been reported that he will take 2 weeks rest to recuperate from the injury. This has sent a scare to the Indian camp before the World Cup.
Kedhar Jadhav has gone to Mumbai Cricket Association’s Recreation Centre on 16 May for fitness. Indian cricket team physio Patrick Farhat has sent the fitness report of Jadhav to the BCCI which cleared the Cricket for the World Cup.
Team India will start their World Cup campaign against South Africa on 5 June. They will play warm-up matches on 25 and 28 May against New Zealand and Bangladesh, respectively.
