Hisara: A woman who tried to stop a sexual assault was pushed and killed from a moving passenger train onto the tracks. A 35-year-old woman who resisted the rape attempt was pushed to the track in front of her son and killed. The woman's body was later found on the railway tracks. The woman who was killed was a resident of Tohana in the Fatehabad district of Haryana.
The incident occurred when the mother was returning home with her nine-year-old son. The police say that the person who boarded the train in the middle of the journey was attacked. The accused has been taken into police custody. The railway police registered a case based on the complaint of the woman's husband. A case has been registered against Sandeep, a native of Kalwan Village in Tohana, on charges of insulting women and murder.
The husband said in the complaint that he got married to the woman of Kharanti village in Rohtak in 2011 and they have two children. The woman had gone to her mother's house in Karinthi by bus with her son. I boarded a passenger train from Kharinthi railway station to Tohana at 7 pm on Thursday. While getting off the train at Tohana railway station around 9 pm, the panicked son explained the incident to his father.
He said that a youth first molested and beat the mother and then pushed her from the moving train. The complaint states that when he and his son were searching for his wife on the railway lines, the body was found in the bushes near the track around 4 a.m.
