West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling him ‘The Master of Corruption’ and said that she supported the views of the Congress on the Rafale Deal. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Mamata of trying to protect those involved in chit fund scams and warned neither the perpetrators nor those shielding them will be spared.
For that Modi’s allegations, Mamata quickly returned the fire, termed Modi as ‘Mr. Maddy’ and calling Modi ‘Master of Corruption’. Modi is a shame for the country Mamata added. “The less we talk about this man the better. Mr.Maddy is good in corruption and he is a master of arrogance and a shame for our country. I have no words to describe him. His standard is so low that we never expected such a man to be the Prime Minister. We have respect for the chair but not for this man,” Mamata said to journalists in Kolkata.
Earlier in the day, Congress party president Rahul Gandhi had alleged, “The Prime Minister has stolen Rs 30,000cr of people’s money, bypassed a process and given to his friend Anil Ambani.” Lastly, Mamata Banerjee claimed that Modi has been scared as 23 major parties in the country have united against him.
