Parliament proceedings 2019: Lok Sabha to move 'The New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Bill'

 
Both House of Parliament on Tuesday, July 9 debated the Union Budget 2019. The debate is set to continue today as well.
 
In addition, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad will move The New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Bill, 2019 for consideration and passing in the Lok Sabha.
 
Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will move The Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2019 for consideration.
 
The Bill provides for the creation of the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre (the NDIAC) – an autonomous and independent institution that is meant to assume the place currently held by the International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR) and be tasked with the professional, timely and cost-effective conduct and management of arbitration, mediation and conciliation proceedings in India.
