Actor Vivekh who is most popularly known for his comedy roles suffered a massive heart attack yesterday. Vivekh passed away earlier today at 4:37 am. The sudden demise of the comedy icon has left the country shaken. PM Modi tweeted out a note of condolence.
The untimely demise of noted actor Vivek has left many saddened. His comic timing and intelligent dialogues entertained people. Both in his films and his life, his concern for the environment and society shone through. Condolences to his family, friends and admirers. Om Shanti.
Several film personalities such as Rajinikanth, AR Rahman, DSP and many more mourned the death of the comedy icon.
"The passing away of little Kalaivanar, social worker and my dear close friend Vivekh is very painful. Every day I spent with him during the filming of Sivaji are unforgettable days in my life. My condolences to the bereaved family. May his soul rest in peace," wrote Rajinikanth.

Vivekh made his acting debut with the 1987 film Manadhil Urudhi Vendum. Over the last few decades, Vivekh rose to fame with his own brand of comedy. He was last seen in the 2020 film Dharala Prabhu. Vivek is survived by his wife and two daughters.
