Queen Elizabeth II moves out of Buckingham Palace after an aide tests positive for Coronavirus

According to sources Queen Elizabeth II has moved out of Buckingham Palace after one of her aides tested positive for Coronavirus. The monarch who is 93 years old moved to Windsor Castle on Thursday indefinitely. Reports have confirmed that the queen is healthy while her future engagements stand cancelled.

The Sun, UK reported on the news writing, "The worker tested positive before the Queen left for Windsor. But the Palace has 500 members of staff so, like any workplace, it's not inconceivable it would be affected in some stage." All members of the Royal Household who came in contact with the aide are now in self Quarantine.

"We wouldn't comment on individual members of staff. In line with the appropriate guidance and our own processes, we have taken the necessary actions to protect all employees and people involved," a palace spokesperson said.

Some reports suggest that the royal family will do an announcement soon for the UK public to boost everyone's morale. Before Queen Elizabeth, herself issued a statement which read, "Many of us will need to find new ways of staying in touch with each other and making sure that loved ones are safe. I am certain we are up to that challenge."

"We are enormously thankful for the expertise and commitment of our scientists, medical practitioners and emergency and public services; but now more than any time in our recent past, we all have a vitally important part to play as individuals - today and in the coming days, weeks and months," she added. The queen will soon turn 94 on April 21, 2020.
