Ravi Prakash says he is the CEO of TV9 and nobody will arrest him!
Hours after Cyberabad Police charged him for forgery and criminal conspiracy, TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash appeared on the channel on Thursday evening and denied the allegations.
But, police said that they booked two cases on the CEO of the most popular Telugu news channel Tv9, Ravi Prakash and some others a few days ago. They were charged on forgery, cheating and criminal conspiracy. They even said that searches were conducted at various places in connection with one of the cases.
"Nobody arrested me. Nobody will arrest me. There have been the false propaganda...since morning that I am absconding. I am very much on duty and I am speaking as the CEO of TV9," these were the words uttered by Ravi Prakash in his own studio after he was alleged as absconded.
The whole dispute relates to Alanda Media buying 80% stake in TV9 recently. Ravi Prakash was reportedly opposed the Alanda’s move to appoint new directors and was indulged in forgery.
The case was registered on April 24th by a complaint from P. Kaushik Rao, Director of Alanda Media & Entertainments Pvt. Ltd., that Ravi Prakash, actor S. Shivaji and others committed forgery by false documents for their wrongful gain.
