Arnab Goswami is a well-known journalist who is known for his insane rant on fake nationalism. This controversial personality has crossed his limits by terming the so-called 'the God of Cricket', Sachin Tendulkar as an anti-nationalist. He also tagged another legendary cricketer, Sunil Gavaskar in this category over their opinion on India playing against Pakistan in the upcoming WorldCup.
This mess has started when Harbhajan Singh started to opine that India should quit the match with Pakistan in WC as a respect to the attacked soldiers at Pulwama. After many mixed reactions on that, Sachin and Gavaskar opined that India can’t offer two free points to Pakistan by forfeiting the match but should defeat them even India can advance to knock-outs if they lose those two points. Sachin added that he will stand with the BCCI and the whole nation no matter what decision they take.
But Arnab deemed Sachin as an anti-nationalist over these comments. Goswami said, “I don’t believe in any Gods. Sachin Tendulkar is 100 percent wrong. Sachin Tendulkar, if he has any sense, he should realize that he should be the first person to say that don’t play with Pakistan. (Sunil) Gavaskar should be the second person to say that don’t play with Pakistan. These people say that we need two points. Both are damn wrong. We don’t need two points. I want revenge for my martyrs. Sachin Tendulkar can take his two points and put it in the dustbin.” He is being trolled by all the Sachin fans in social media and let’s see where it will end.
