The video was uploaded on Twitter by bureaucrat Supriya Sahu. The video begins with a child sitting in front on his motorcycle while three other children and two women wait to board the vehicle. Soon, another child is seen adjusting the bike, followed by the rest of the family riding the motorcycle. It can also be seen that the bike rider, women and children are not wearing helmets.
Supriya Sahu has tweeted the video, saying that she has nothing to say. The video received over 1.2 million views on Twitter and mixed reactions from users. While many highlighted how people were putting their lives at risk by violating traffic rules, some argued that it was due to a lack of proper transport facilities.
"Seven people on a two-wheeler. What happens to children if the two-wheeler slips? "The owner/rider of the two-wheeler should be arrested and the driving licence cancelled," wrote one user. Some have shared screen grabs of the video, showing that this family is not the only one breaking traffic rules. Some have highlighted the fuel price hike that has hit the country.
