Ministers D. Jayakumar and O.S. Manian condemning the decision of the AMMK propaganda secretary Thanga Tamilselvan to join the DMK.
Fisheries portfolio leader Mr. Jayakumar said those who made to the DMK camp would be “heroes only for a day” and they would become “zeroes” after.
Handlooms portfolio leader Mr. Manian, expressed that it had been the experience of the party that those who went from the overlap of the AIADMK chief M.G. Ramachandran and Jayalalitha to the DMK or any other party would not be capable to take away “workers” of the organization. “This would be the case in respect of Mr. Tamilselvan too”, he said.
Meantime, the AIADMK accepted members of the AMMK form the North Chennai and Dharmapuri district units. The meeting of the party MLAs was over at the headquarters here. CM Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O. Pannerelvam were attended.
