Amidst this, Rajini's latest statement has come as a cool breeze to fans and followers.
Rajinikanth declared that he is ready to face Assembly Polls in Tamil Nadu whenever it is being announced. 'I am ready to contest and will take the final decision after May 23rd,' he told on Friday.
The actor replied 'whenever held' when asked if the results may lead to assembly polls in the state and if he is ready to face it. Out of 234 total strength of Tamil Nadu's assembly, there are 22 Vacancies as of now. By-elections happened in 18 Assembly Constituencies on April 18th this year. Ruling AIADMK has 114 MLAs if Speaker isn't taken into account and it needs a simple majority of 117 to continue.
With these revelations, the whole state is anxiously waiting for the results of the elections held on April 18.
