Transferred Srikakulam SP files complaint on Vijaya Sai Reddy
The Election Commission issued orders transferring three IPS officers A.B. Venkateswara Rao, the Intelligence head, Rahul Dev Sharma, Kapada SI, and Venkata Ratnam, Srikakulam SP based on the accusations made by YRSCP. On this note, SP Venkataratnam has filed a complaint against Vijaya Sai Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP from YSR Congress party.
The complaint lodged by the SP in the Srikakulam two town police station read that the MP has made false allegations deliberately against him. “I was deeply hurt by the allegations made. I have been serving from three decades and I can bet that I didn’t have a single black mark. YSRC is trying to conspire against me and I will fight against this,” he stated.
These transfers on the verge of assembly elections have raised speculations as of to manipulate the Viveka’s murder case. Though the AP government followed the directives of the election commission, it excluded intelligence chief from the transfer. On the other hand, the ruling and opposition parties started alleging each other in connection with the transfers.
