Vijay Sai Reddy re-appointed as AP special representative
Looks like every try by TDP members is going in vain. After too many allegations over YSRCP showed no impact over the party members, TDP members have come up with a new way to trouble YSRCP. Recently, TDP had contemplated on complaining over Vijay Sai Reddy to Rajya Sabha chairman M Venkaiah Naidu asking him to disqualify Vijay Sai Reddy, as he cannot hold two offices of profit. This came after debate regarding the appointment of Vijay Sai Reddy as AP special representative with cabinet status.
It is well known that members of Rajya Sabha must not hold any other official posts gaining profits. However Vijay Sai Reddy earlier had such posts. As it came till disqualification of Vijay Sai Reddy due to complaints from TDP, YSRCP president and AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy didn't want to have such glitches and hence had taken a wise decision. Temporarily, Vijay Sai Reddy was removed from the AP special representative post and recently he got re-appointed with no financial benefits.
By this AP's new Chief Minister had once again proven how well can he handle the hurdles. Of course, these happened to be failed trials by TDP to affect YSRCP somehow or other for one more time. For now Vijay Sai Reddy will be continuing both the posts simultaneously.
