Corona tests bandh In Telangana Due To Kits Shortage
The shortage of Covid testing kits in Telangana has hit the diagnosis of coronavirus infection tests among the public during the past two days and it has become a big cause of concern with ever-rising cases and long waiting periods for Covid tests in the state. According to health officials, every day as many as 1.30 to 1.50 lakh Covid testing are being conducted at various Covid testing laboratories every day in the state. However, during the past two days with the supply of Covid testing kits both rapid antigen test (RAT) and RT-PCR kits being stopped by a supplying firm from Delhi, the state is facing a severe shortage because of which the pace of Covid-19 testing has slowed down and it has because a cause of big concerned among the health authorities as they are not able to cope up to meet the ever-rising demand for Covid testing in the state.
