An RTC bus caught fire in Kakinada, East Godavari district. APS RTC Indra AC bus going from Kakinada to Vijayawada caught fire near Zilla Parishad Center. The immediately alert driver alerted passengers. As soon as everyone got down, the big accident was avoided. All the passengers were safe and everyone was out of breath. The bus caught fire and thick smoke billowed from the road. Locals noticed the fire on the bus and immediately informed firefighters. They immediately entered the field and put out the fire. It is suspected that the fire on the bus was due to a short circuit. RTC officials sent the passengers on a different bus. The bus was half-burnt in the accident.
