US president Trump to meet PM Modi & Imran Khan, says ‘Lot of Progress’ in Indo-Pak ties
US President Donald Trump has said he will soon meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Talking to reporters at the White House on Monday, Trump said a lot of progress has been made in reducing the tension between the two neighbors and he will meet both Prime Ministers.
Trump along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address Indian-Americans at the "Howdy Modi!" mega-event in Houston on September 22nd.
He, however, did not say when or where he will be meeting Pakistan premier Imran Khan.
The tension between India and Pakistan escalated after New Delhi revoked Jammu and Kashmir's special status on August 5th.
