Bollywood actress Ali Fazal has joined the many women calling for the withdrawal of #MeToo accuser Sajid Khan from Salman Khan's reality show 'Bigg Boss 16'. The actor shared a poster of the disgraced filmmaker on the reality program on Instagram and wrote, "Evict Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss today!"
He has now joined a rising chorus of celebrities and netizens calling for the #MeToo accuser to be removed from the show. Mandana Karimi, Aahana Kumra, Sherlyn Chopra, Kanishka Soni, and other actresses spoke out against Khan and his behavior.
Rani Chatterjee, a Bhojpuri actress, recently accused the filmmaker of sexual harassment. She said that incident happened when the actress was summoned to Sajid's apartment in Juhu under the guise of offering her a dance routine in Ajay Devgn's 'Himmatwala.'
Since filmmaker Sajid Khan took over 'Bigg Boss 16,' controversy has surrounded the reality show. There were reports that he might be shown the exit door in the coming weeks, but further reports said that the producers have no intentions to dismiss him.
Sajid has been accused of sexual assault, including revealing his private parts at parties, requesting nude photos from female performers as part of the casting process, and watching porn in front of women.
