Bigg Boss Tamil 6: Shivin Ganesan Opens Up About Her Struggle As A Transperson

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 was launched in a grand manner on Vijay Television on October 6. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is back as the host of thw show. This reality show started with 20 contestants. Myna Nandhini entered the hshow as the first wildcard contestant. Shivin Ganesan is the only transperson on the show, who is representing the commoner. Amudhavanan, Rachitha, GP Muthu, Janany, Aryan Dinesh Kangarathnam, Azeem, Ram Ramasamy, Nivashini, Robert Master, SHanthi Nagarajan, VJ Maheshwari are some of the contestants on the show.

On the show, Shivin said, "My mother was scared that I would never be able to find a job, so she sent me to Singapore to pursue a career. Neither I have committed any mistake, nor did my mother. My gender identity separated us. I wanted to come back and help my mother, but she was persistent that I stay back. There are many people from the trans community who have stories like mine and are living their lives devoid of love and affection. If their situation needs to improve, more people need to hear our stories, which was one of the reasons that I decided to be part of the Bigg Boss show"
