Director Vamshi Paidipally has made his Kollywood debut with this film, and so has producer Dil Raju, who produced the movie. He managed to score a really good hit, as the movie has managed to collect well over Rs. 100 Crores.
Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of the film, while SS Thaman is the music director. His songs and background score turned out to be huge assets for the film.
The film also features an ensemble cast that consists of Jayasudha, Sarath Kumar, Srikanth, Shaam, and Prakash Raj. Jayasudha's performance in the movie is especially being praised. While Varisu managed to impress the Tamil audience, it turned out to be a failure in the Telugu states, despite Dil Raju's many attempts.
