Megastar Chiranjeevi has come up with Waltair Veerayya for this year's Sankranthi. The movie was released on 13th January, for Sankranthi this year. Fans have been having a wonderful time with the film's success. The film was released 5 days ago, and continues to be strong at the box office.
There have been good expectations on Waltair Veerayya ever since it was announced. The film marks the first Sankranthi release for Chiru after Khaidi No. 150, which was released in 2017. The movie has been directed by Bobby, who has hit it out of the park with this film. The response to Waltair Veerayya upon its release was universally positive, and the collections of the film have been very good as well. The film has already entered the top 5 list, and that too on the 4th day itself.
After a really long time, audeinces got to see Chiru in his vintage style - from the way he was dressed to his body language. This is being considered as director Bobby's biggest achievement, and has also turned out to be a major highlight of the film. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of this film, in which Ravi Teja has played an important part.
The scenes between Ravi and Chiranjeevi in the second half particularly stand out. Their body language and dance moves have also stood out. Devi Sri Prasad's songs and background music have been received well by the audience.
After a really long time, Chiru managed to score a really good hit with Waltair Veerayya this year. The actor's previous films, Acharya and Godfather didn't appeal to the audience much.
